Day 4 At Sea

Sunday was a full day at sea.

We started in our room with a little watching out the window--lots of water
As you can see, our room was all bed...two twins pushed together to make a queen/king, with a cot next to them and a bunk above.  This picture was taken from by the bathroom..it was cozy.  The Girl and I laughed about trying to shave our legs...there wasn't really room to move your arms in the shower....

My favorite breakfast spot--on the back of the boat. Not as crowded as some other spots and a good, simple selection of breakfast food.
After breakfast some of us attended a family circus workshop.  The Boy and the grandparents had a lot of fun trying out all the different circus tools!

Around this time The Girl discovered the teen club and only appeared for meals and bedtime.....The Boy was not as impressed with the preteen activities, so he hung out with us a lot and with his cousin, M.

After lunch was a cupcake decorating lesson--really cupcakes and toppings to eat...the kids enjoyed it...and so did grandma (here she is showing off her artwork)

And a game of chess (giant game, some would say)

Later, Mr. IM and The Boy decided to try out the pool and water slide (do you see some of the leftover Caribbean theme?

I sat on the pool deck and people watched--this area is one of the few designated smoking areas on ship--right next to a sign saying something like "danger, flammable chemicals".  Um.  OK.

After their dip in the pool, Mr. IM and The Boy had hot cocoa...nothing says Alaska cruise like pool plus cocoa, right?
After the pool we got cleaned up and had a lovely dinner in one of the sit-down restaurants on board.  Only after I picked up our photos did I realize I didn't put on make-up !

After dinner we had a nice walk around the ship

And were greeted in our room by this towel animal...seal?  turkey?  Eh, he's cute, whatever he is
