A little adventure

Many of you know that Mr. Ranch brews his own beer.  The other night he attempted to pour a glass from the keg fridge (see photo below)

Nothing came out, so he checked the lines and found one frozen.  He thought he fixed the problem, shut the tap and went upstairs to supervise The Boy's shower. Suddenly he heard a weird hissing noise...as I understand it, the tubing had frozen, the tap was stuck open, and 5 gallons of beer plus all the CO2 leaked out...the beer onto the carpet, pretty much where you see Liberty lying.
In good news, I now know that baking soda and a lot of carpet cleaner can effectively neutralize that beer smell...the house now smells less like a frat house and more like a bakery and the carpet is nearly back to its original color.  Maybe by Christmas we'll work our way up to a pleasant coffee cake smell.
