The drought is getting better in Colorado, but due to the summer wildfires, and the fact that we are an Alpine desert...the past few years the town has skipped July 4 fireworks in favor of Starlighting fireworks. This year it was front page news (in the local paper) with a shout-out to Purdue engineering. Yay, Purdue...billing above the Colorado schools, even!
